Overview
Here’s a small example of a one-page multiple-choice questionnaire produced and processed by AMC. This questionnaire includes two single-choice questions, and two where any number of answers can be valid. The LaTeX file that produced the subject is self-explanatory, but the documentation may help you to clarify certain points of detail. You can also use another, simpler format: AMC-TXT. AMC has been asked to generate 10 copies of the subject, which are contained in the corresponding PDF document. These 10 copies are different because the questions and answers have been shuffled. We print them out and distribute one page to each student. Once the exam is over, the students' copies are scanned. Here we present the scanned copy of Jojo and Chloé, and the correction that was made (automatically). Of course, a grade file is also produced by AMC.
It’s worth noting that the copier/scanner turned the pages during the scan, but this didn’t prevent it from automatically analyzing them, as the four alignement marks (the black circles in the four corners of the copy) remain clearly identifiable.
